JOINT ENDORSEMENT FOR TIM ALEXANDER

We are the municipal Democratic chairs of Fairfield Township, Commercial Township, Upper Deerfield Township, and Bridgeton City in Cumberland County. Although we each hold these leadership roles, we offer this endorsement in our personal capacities and not on behalf of our respective municipal committees. Over the past several years, we have watched Tim Alexander fight for our families as a civil rights attorney and grassroots advocate. When we heard he was running for Congress again, we knew our communities needed to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him.

LaRae Smith, Municipal Chair of Commercial Township

Commercial Township is a small community with a big heart, and our residents want leaders who will stand up for them. I have watched Tim Alexander meet with fishermen and farmers, parents and seniors, and he always asks what he can do to help. His commitment to expanding economic opportunities, protecting our environment, and keeping health care affordable resonates deeply here. Tim understands that our region's economy relies on clean water and strong industries, and he will work in Congress to secure investments that create good-paying jobs without sacrificing our natural resources. I proudly support Tim Alexander because he puts people first and will give South Jersey the voice it deserves in Washington.

Marion Kennedy Jr., Municipal Chair of Fairfield Township

As chair of Fairfield Township, I have seen the challenges our towns face every day: crumbling roads, underfunded schools, and a lack of opportunity that pushes our young people away. Tim Alexander is not just another politician; he is a neighbor who knows the struggle firsthand. He has spent his career bridging divides and pushing back against injustice. I am endorsing Tim because he listens, he puts people over politics, and he will bring federal resources home to improve our infrastructure and public services. South Jersey deserves a representative who will fight for working families and make sure no one is left behind. That is the Tim Alexander I know.

Sandy Acevedo, Municipal Chair of Upper Deerfield Township

Our township thrives on agriculture and small businesses, yet we too often feel forgotten by those in Washington. Tim Alexander has shown time and again that he has not forgotten us. He champions rural communities, advocates for fair trade policies that support farmers, and pushes for broadband access so our children can learn and our businesses can compete. Most importantly, he treats everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of party or background. Tim has earned my trust because he fights for civil rights and equal opportunity, values that reflect the best of our community. I am standing with Tim Alexander because he will deliver real results for Upper Deerfield Township and all of South Jersey.

Damita White‑Morris, Municipal Chair of Bridgeton City

Bridgeton City is my home, and I’ve dedicated my life to empowering our young people and supporting families. After graduating from Bridgeton High School, I returned to our community to provide tools and resources that help our children succeed and encourage them to make better life choices. As an educator and early childhood director, I know that our children and seniors are among the most vulnerable members of our community. Tim Alexander shares that understanding. His decades of service as a civil rights attorney show that he will champion fairness and opportunity for everyone. I proudly join this endorsement because Tim will fight for every corner of our district, ensuring our children have access to quality schools, families feel safe, and seniors are treated with dignity.

Our United Voice

Together, we felt compelled to lend our personal voices to this endorsement because the stakes for our towns, counties, and this District are too high for us to remain silent. Tim Alexander’s unwavering dedication to civil rights, public service, and the unique needs of South Jersey gives us confidence that he will represent every corner of New Jersey’s Second District. As municipal chairs, we know what our towns need, and we know Tim shares our vision of a future where our children can prosper close to home. We urge our neighbors across Cumberland County and beyond to join us in supporting Tim Alexander for Congress. He has the integrity, experience, and heart to bring about the positive change our communities deserve.
